Officer Sheehan dispatched to residence.

Upon arrival at residence, Officer Sheehan turned on a recording device, noted the date and time, then exited his cruiser.

1:16 a.m.

Walther P22, found at scene in Emily’s hand, checked into evidence room.

Three suicide notes to children put in plastic covers and added to file.

Sanitized police report signed by Chief Campbell added to file.

Transcript of audiotape made during investigation and interview with Chief Campbell made and added to file.

Graveside service for Emily Campbell

August 21, 2010

10:45 a.m.

City of Phoenix (COP) Det. Merchant took custody of three (3) disposable cameras containing crime scene photos.

11:15 a.m.

Det. Merchant Federal Expressed all disposable cameras containing crime scene photos to COP PD Headquarters to be developed and sent via secure e-mail back to investigating officers.

3:10 p.m.

Property clerk unable to locate Walther P22 in evidence room.

HOW TO PROCEED WITH INVESTIGATION

Search warrants:

Search warrant for crime scene to include house, vehicles, every structure on property

Warrant to dump telephone calls to and from Campbell residence from 6:00 p.m., August 18, 2010, to 5:00 a.m., August 19, 2010

Warrant for financial information from bank and other financial institutions for Boyd Campbell

Warrant to interview Dr. Tamran, Emily’s psychiatrist

Interviews needed:

Interview Crematorium manager

Interview witnesses to establish Boyd Campbell’s alibi:
